Why I Chose To Return

"Many doctors leave their hometowns in search of larger opportunities.
My journey took me in the opposite direction."

After completing my training and gaining valuable experience, I made a conscious decision to return to Cuttack. I believed that world-class eye care should not be limited to metropolitan cities — patients in Odisha deserved access to advanced treatment, modern technology, and compassionate care close to home.

Whether it is helping a child overcome strabismus, restoring vision through cataract surgery, or guiding anxious families through treatment decisions, the reward is never measured in numbers. It is measured in the confidence, independence, and dignity that good vision restores. Medicine is ultimately built on trust. Technology evolves and techniques improve, but the relationship between doctor and patient remains at the heart of everything we do.
